A suspected male Tachysphex panzeri wasp on the lookout for a mate. This species of wasp is a Parasitoid, with grasshoppers being it’s host species. These wasps are only 9-14mm long but can take prey twice that length (saw many 18-28mm grasshoppers in the area where I photographed this wasp).
