Hey guys, i am very curious about wether vespa mandarinia and its close relatives like vespa soror use their venom defensively or as a predatory tool. I also wonder if the venom is designed to target mammals and birds (which i assume would be useful for defensive purposes) or rather other insects (which i assume would be for predatory purposes). Does anyone know?
