Hi! This might be the most inconvenient insect pinning story ever, so i need some advice. a friend of mine sent me a brood x cicada (that should tell you how old it is lol) except back when it died, it got moldy. then he killed the mold by just throwing the whole cicada in salt and i just received it. I truly don't know if it'll be salvageable or worth the effort to pin it, but my plan is to first try to very very carefully rehydrate it after brushing most of the salt off, then maybe attempting to pin it, but the salt is super hard to remove. should i just give up, go through with my plan, or readjust the plan? thanks!
