In an older post, /u/into_bug_stuff mentioned that Ethyl Acetate is good for killing butterflies UNLESS genetic work is being done. Why is that? How is Ethyl Acetate impacting genetic work?
I'm in a lab that started to collect and kill butterflies, mostly for engineering study, and I'm curious to understand the strategies for putting butterflies down.
