I found an Eastern hercules beetle that was sadly already dead. I put it in a container and stuck it in the freezer at work until I could get home. I opened the bowl and it has a little bit of a smell to it. I'm new to this, but wanted to make sure it could still be preserved, or is it too late since it wasn't freshly dead?
