Years ago in the classroom, i noticed flies making a hexagonal (or another shape, but definitely not circle) pattern in their flight, and they didn't leave that little 2 m² spot, I don't remember if someone told me or if it was my own conclusion, but I guess they were blinded by the overly bright room and disoriented?
If anyone knows the real answer please do tell!!!
