Hi! I recently pinned a butterfly and while I was searching for its ID I noticed that its species has white eyes with dark spots, but my butterfly has brownish-red eyes. I wonder if its eyes has changed colour due to the drying process or because it's a dfferent species.
In the first case, how can I preserve the colour of the eyes/body of any specimen?
