I was on holiday in Turkey and there were some oriental hornets next to our pool. I realized that they tend to gather near water sources. I was uncomfortable swimming next to them. My question is:
1- Are they aggressive? Would they sting without any provocation? What is considered provocation?
2- What happens if they sting? Assuming I don't have any allergies, what is the worst thing that can happen if they sting?
