I have several harvester ant colonies I have watched establish and grow for several years that seem to have died due to the record freezing temps last month here in TX USA. I was seeing activity after the freeze ended but nothing moving now. Does anyone have any info on recovery from such cold? (I corrected my spelling at the top, but it wouldn't--still won't--allow correction. These are HARVESTER ANTS.)
