Hey guys, i'm trying to do my research on legal aspects of keeping certain insects in the states. I am looking to get some new little buddies :) Its been a while, but previously I have kept a variety of ground beetles and raised various caterpillar species- the thing is, all of them I collected myself in my state. In the US- are you only allowed to keep bugs that are native to your state, your region, or the country as a whole? I'm mainly interested in ironclad beetles but I am on the east coast and they are southwest native.
