Smelly specimen

So a few weeks ago I posted about pinning a bee specimen.

I believe it has dried out mostly, but there was a small amount of fluid that has come out of its rear end and it smells a bit.

Nothing overwhelming but definite rot. I’ve left it out in open air now but just wondering if there’s anything I need to be aware of.
