Bed Bugs?? Other problem?

I found five hard black dots in my bed yesterday. They were about as wide as pencil lead, were not flexible, and the same size. I have no NEW bites on me since discovering this. (I have mosquito bites that scar) My parents who live with me said they have found no evidence of fleas or bed bugs despite sleeping with our dog.

Possibly relevant or not relevant information

-last week my father, dog, and I took care of a neighbor's dog when they were out of town.

-I've found similar residue in my hammock outside.

-My house has somewhat of a roach problem

• My room is carpeted

-possible that it was dirt (but they were all the same size)
