Hello, im in the process of raising some Harpaphe haydeniana (common names may be: cyanide, almond-scented, clown, and yellow-spotted millipedes). I live in the pacific northwest area, and I know these little bugs are absolutely great for the environment, sorta why I'm raising them (althiugh they have only one predator). When I bring them home, there are these small mites that look sodta like ticks all over them. I have no images because I've blown them off, and killed the mites assuming they're bad. Now, I get that mitss and millipedes are usually buddy buddy, but im more worried about is the mites fine a new host- my isopods or grasshoppers. Will they become a problem then? Apologies for asking so much, im just very nervous, and curious about these absolutely amazing bugs! Thank you!
