Hi everyone!
Apologies if this is the wrong subreddit for this but I'm trying to raise a colony of 'inchworms' which have appeared out of nowhere in a pot I had sitting outside on my window cill. I had Virginia Stock flowers growing there and they have eaten almost all the leaves and now I'm getting worried they may starve. The flower stems are still plentiful but the leaves are almost all gone.
I can't get hold of new flowers as they are only sold as seeds and it would probably take too long to grow. So I was wondering if anyone knows of an alternative food source for them? I've collected a variety of leaves from my back garden and placed inside the pot in hopes they would take to them but they don't seem keen on the new diet.
I live in London (UK) by the way. I do not know what type of larvae they are but I can link a photo if it would help.
Thank you!
