Any good entomology based fiction?

I am looking for books to propose to my bookclub and would love to slip some entomology education in there. I guess it doesn't have to be strictly fiction, but a good story is a must because these folks are not going to pick this book solely for the crash course (although, you never know, they are mostly physicists). I am thinking either something full of interesting insect facts or that casually lays out the basics. Open to other suggestions as well.

It should be around 300 pages, widely available in English, and sci-fi is a plus. It will be competing with Crime and Punishment, and Terry Pratchett's The Last Hero (I propose 3 and the group votes to choose).

Thank you!
