Hey all, I’m on mobile, sorry for formatting, etc.
Long story short: this morning I found a tick on me, panicked, neglected all proper tick protocol, and smacked it off my arm. The tick has disappeared, and while I’ve vacuumed the area and washed my sheets, I’m worried that there’s a tick loose that could crawl back on me and bite me in my sleep.
My questions are essentially how long can a tick survive in an indoor setting? Are there any other steps I can take to ensure my room is tick free? Am I being too cautious in refusing to go into my room and sleeping on a different floor of my house?
