We had a fresh carpenter bee emerge this morning on our porch, and I can only assume that another been had laid eggs later, because this emerging bee pushed out an immature larva.
I know carpenter bees leave behind a ball of pollen and nectar to feed the larvae, but is there any way we could possibly rear this thing outside of the chamber it used to be in? Would love to see it pupate.
