Moth caterpillar keepers: is it normal for your caterpillar to get "moist" or spread around liquid and change color before pupating?

This is what I'm experiencing with my Daphnis nerii caterpillar; it's making a "nest" with leaves and spinning some silk to shut them out (which I also notice with my other moths of another species), but difference is, it seems to be sweating? Idk how to describe it, it's basically producing some liquid and I thought it's dying but it's still weaving its leaf house. Anyone else?
