I'm planning on buying a couple of giant water bugs from a local shop however they aren't sure about the species.
They claim the animals came from Africa, more precisely the democratic republic of the congo.
One of the males had eggs on his back and as far as I can find it's only Abedus and Belostoma species that do this but the sources I'm looking at don't mention them living in africa.
Anyone got an idea what species it could be? Sorry I don't have a picture but I completely blanked on that front.
