Hi guys!
I made a thread a few years back about research that I've been doing independently on macular variance within C. sexguttata. At the time, it was just for personal shits 'n giggles, but I actually got a place at a conference this summer! I've compiled a good bit of data from those Reddit replies, iNaturalist, and personal collecting, but the more the merrier! The official title will ring something like "Elytral macular variance among Cicindela sexguttata: A citizen science approach to documenting phenotypic variation"
Basically, I need your help in cataloging the maculation among the C. sexguttata in your region. This can just be a picture of their elytra. Please just include your city/county/state or province that you found the specimen as well as the name you would like to credit the data to. Your name will be kept confidential and only the locality will be included in the presentation. Feel free to PM me on Reddit or send photos to:

Thanks all! You're the best!
