Seeking an estimated force required to remove an insect from a wall

Hi :)

I've looking into an article database regarding the subject in the title, but the closest topics I found related to single-pad adhesion. And since (as I understand it) there are many pads of varying area on an insect's tarsus, it's difficult to find the total maximum shear/normal stress that an insect can withstand from this data.

I just wanted to know if anyone here could approximate the normal force that the average 1-gram insect can withstand before it gets removed from an interior wall (painted surface). For example, at what force would the insect lose its grip on the wall when pulled directly away from the wall? If you have data from insects of another mass or another surface, that would be fine.

If not, thanks for the consideration anyway!
