I ordered the caterpillars to raise for my students. It’s part of our curriculum. I figured between the supply place and the science coordinator I ordered through, they’d send them at the right time for our climate like they usually do, somewhere in the last week of April or first week of May. I figured wrong. Now I have all these 3/8” cats and a last frost date of May 30. Can I slow them down somehow? Refrigerate? Less food? Anything?
