Are there reasons why one shouldnt cast insects in resin? Im looking to cast insects but a friend told me that they feel bad for the insects because he 1. Thinks they may become endangered if insect resin embeddings are sold on an industrial scale. 2. He says the dead specimens look like they are drowning in resin/water?
I wanted to know if there are any genuine moral issues to embedding insects in resin and what could be the appeal for them.
