I have recently seen that you can preserve bugs in hand sanitizer, I thought that this would be ideal for some of my specimens, since I plan on moving to another country soon, and it seems to protect the bug well. I also recently acquired a dead scorpion, which I do not feel qualified to gut and prepare. Would it be a good idea to suspend it in hand sanitizer? I do not want to harm the specimen. Are there any cons in doing this?
