Moth larvae on the ceiling!

I have them in my kitchen. They appear every day and I got really confused how. The pantry is down on the shelf somewhere in altitude of knee level. I notice larvae always on the ceiling or a little bit lower on the wall. Today I spent whole day watching where is the source and 30 minute gas was enough for one to appear on the ceiling. It's too slow to climb all the way up from the pantry or counter, so I guess it has its eggs on the ceiling? I see some little dots there, but they seem as a dust. I even magnified. And if they are eggs - how come it managed to grow sooo big to change from unnoticeable to caterpillar in 30 minutes?

Please explain cause I feel stupid af
